畫家於2019年於班夫對面山脈的餐廳中靈感迸發，雪山冰川之美深深觸動其心，於是細心描繪，畫下多幅作品。當時餐廳經理告知，這座山百年前皆被厚冰所覆蓋！而今僅存雪山的20%，預計百年後可能將全無冰雪！這觸動心靈的言語令人深思。人類對自然環境的漠視，溫室效應的肆虐，或將使後代無緣一窺此美景，且對地球造成難以彌補的傷害。因此，這幅作品－黃約翰所繪，譜寫著深刻的溶雪印象，期冀喚起人類對地球的珍惜與愛護。

In 2019, the artist was inspired in a restaurant across from the mountains in Banff. The beauty of the snow-capped mountains and glaciers deeply touched his heart, so he carefully depicted them, creating many works. At that time, the restaurant manager informed him that this mountain was completely covered in thick ice a hundred years ago! Now only 20% of the snow-capped mountains remain, and it is predicted that there may be no ice at all in a hundred years! These touching words are thought-provoking. Humanity's disregard for the natural environment and the devastation of the greenhouse effect may prevent future generations from seeing this beautiful scenery and cause irreparable damage to the Earth. Therefore, this work - painted by ，John Wong ， - composes a deep impression of melting snow, hoping to awaken humanity's cherishing and love for the Earth.
